Petra, Jordan. Photo taken by Andrew Waddington The Treasury is the most easily recognized ruin at the World Heritage site of Petra in Jordan. A few nights a week the local bedouin hold a light show at the base of this remarkable rock cut temple, hundreds of candles are lit to provide a wonderful spectacle of light. There is only a short few moments between the lighting of the last candle and the arrival of the tourists so I had to be prepared for this shot. I think shooting from the top of the cliff allowed me to make a somewhat unique image of this iconic location.
